 Project Priority List 

 1.  Grandstand Renovation

            a.  Replace wooden seating

Comments:

Most people really like the old look and feel it has now. 

People just do not like metal bleachers. 

They can be very uncomfortable.

We need to make sure there is adequate space between rows.  Can we maintain the wide section half way up for lawn chairs?

             b.  Install rail along track in box seats

                        Comments:   

                        Be careful height doesn’t interfere with view when seated

                        Replace remaining wood dividers and railing with Trex Decking

             c.  Restrooms and concession under grandstand

                        Limited to electric only – no grill

             d.  Mitigate Fire Danger

 2.  Bridge Over Alley to East Side Bleachers

Needs attention right away – add hog panel or chain link to reduce risk of someone falling through. 

 3.  Restrooms / Concession onEast Side

Agreed that single building would be best and most cost efficient with just single electrical, water and sewer hookups.

Check on applying for funds from the Rec Board.  Tying into the sewer could dictate placement. 

 4.  Electrical Supply

            a.  Camping Area

            b. East Side

            c.  Parking Lot Lighting

Call into RMP to check on line capacity and usage.  What are our options to increase supply?  Estimator Dave Schaffer will be coming to do survey.

 5.  Bucking Shoots

            Plan previously completed for new shoots – Could begin pretty quickly

Do we need to hire a welder to come in and redo them and fix the rest of the arena?

 6. CommunityBuilding& Kitchen

            a.  Kitchen becoming very unreliable

            b.  Roof needs fixed

            c.  Exterior restrooms need attention

                         Comments:

This building has several issues.  Would it be better to take it down and start over rather than through god money after bad and still have an old building that’s too small with a leaking roof?

 7.  Storm Drainage

New Barn Area

Parking Lot

Needs to be considered when completing road out toKing Lane

Check with Josh Johnson to see if thee survey they did would help with.

 8.  Cover for Stage

 9.  Improve Parking Lot Lighting

 10. Material for Track

 Additional comments:

 Take a look atAlbanyCountyandTorringtonfacilities they are very nice and work very well.

 Will any of these projects qualify for 1% funding?

 We need to get an updated utility schematic, we really have no idea what’s where out here.

 Would we like to set up a committee to handle all of this?
