JOHNSON COUNTY ROAD RECORD
DOCUMENTATION STUDY
The Johnson County
Road Record Documentation Steering Committee will hold a public
meeting on Monday, August 16th at 3PM at the office of
the Johnson County Commissioners, Room 204, 76 North Main Street,
Buffalo, WY for the Road Record Documentation Study. The purpose of
this study is to organize county road records and to verify county
road ownership in Johnson County’s existing road inventory. Bighorn
Surveying and Engineering personnel will give a presentation showing
how the GIS database created for this project functions. After the
presentation there will be a period to accept public comments.
Public comments will also be accepted prior to the meeting and may
be emailed to
commissioners@johnsoncowy.us, or mailed to Johnson County
Commissioners, 76 North Main Street, Buffalo, WY 82834. The map can
be accessed on the website at johnsoncountywyoming.org or be viewed
in the lobby of the Commissioners’ office. For further information

Meeting WORK SESSIONS by the
Johnson County Planning & Zoning Commission
The Johnson County Planning & Zoning Commission
will hold two special meetings to continue work on the draft Johnson
County Zoning Regulations. These work sessions will
be held at the following dates, times and locations:

1:00 PM on Tuesday, August 10, 2010 at the Johnson
County Planning Department conference room located in the Johnson
County Office Annex A Building at 26 N. DeSmet Street, Buffalo,
Wyoming.

4:00 PM on Tuesday, August 17, 2010 at the Johnson
County Planning Department conference room located in the Johnson
County Office Annex A Building at 26 N. DeSmet Street, Buffalo,
Wyoming.
These work sessions are not
intended for receiving public comments. However, these meetings and all
meetings of the Johnson County Planning & Zoning Commission are open
to the public in accordance with Wyoming Statute 18-5-202. For

INFORMATION REGARDING STATUS OF DRAFT JOHNSON
COUNTY ZONING REGULATIONS

The Johnson County Planning & Zoning Commission
is holding ongoing work sessions to develop "draft" Johnson
County Zoning Regulations. Unless advertised otherwise,
these work sessions are held in the Johnson County Planning
Department Conference Room located in the Johnson County Office
Annex A Building at 26 N. DeSmet Street, Buffalo, Wyoming.

The times, dates and locations for all work
sessions are advertised in advance of the meetings in the
Buffalo Bulletin, and on this page of this website.

These Planning & Zoning Commission work sessions
are not intended for receiving public comments, but rather are
for developing a complete draft document suitable for the public
to review and comment upon. However, these work sessions
and all meetings of the Johnson County Planning & Zoning
Commission are open to the public in accordance with Wyoming
Statute 18-5-202.

When a complete draft zoning regulations
document has been prepared, the draft document will be made
easily available to the public, both in print format and
electronic format on the Johnson County Government website at
www.johnsoncountywyoming.org.

It is planned that several public workshops will
be held in both Buffalo and Kaycee for the purpose of hearing
and recording public comments on the draft document.
Comments will also be accepted in writing.

All public comments will be reviewed and
considered.

No formal official adoption schedule for zoning
regulations has been set or discussed by either the Johnson
County Planning & Zoning Commission or the Board of Johnson
County Commissioners.
