The Johnson County Planning and Zoning Commission was created as authorized under Wyoming
Statute 18-5-202.
The Planning and Zoning Commission regularly meets the
second Tuesday of each month in Room 204 of the Johnson County Court House (County
Commissioners Room). All meetings of the Commission are open to the public. The Planning and Zoning Commission meets to review
such matters as subdivision reviews and lot divisions to ensure those requests comply with
the County Subdivision Regulations Resolution and other applicable local, state and
federal regulations. The Commission makes recommendations to the Board of Johnson County
Commissioners regarding final subdivision plat approvals, lot split approvals and other
planning and zoning policy issues.
