WNV and Agriculture

West Nile virus (WNV) is a mosquito-borne disease that can cause a potentially serious illness in humans.
WNV is not spread by routine person-to-person contact, and there is no evidence that people can get the virus by handling infected animals.
Contact your health care provider if you experience symptoms of West Nile virus infection.
