CHIP, complete health coverage for qualifying Wyoming kids younger than 19
years of age.
Kid Care CHIP is for children living in Wyoming who are U.S.
citizens or have lived in the U.S. for the past 5 years.
The following figures are updated annually, and may be
subject to change.

Coverage
Coverage with Kid Care CHIP includes regular checkups,
immunizations, well-baby visits, emergency care, prescriptions,
hospital visits, vision, dental and more.
Eligible children are covered under Kid Care CHIP regardless of any
pre-existing conditions.
Cost
There are no monthly premiums to pay and no deductibles with
Kid Care CHIP, but some services and prescriptions may require a
co-pay of $5 or less.
Restrictions
(Some exceptions apply, so don't hesitate to try!)
If your child already has health insurance, or has had
health insurance within the past 30 days, he or she does not qualify
for Kid Care CHIP.
Children residing in public institutions or correctional facilities
generally do not qualify.
Children of State of Wyoming employees, University of Wyoming
employees, or other Wyoming college employees are usually not
eligible for Kid Care CHIP. |
