Any woman living in Johnson County who is pregnant with her first child may enroll through Johnson County Public Health.
What type of support will I receive during pregnancy?
You will be assigned a home-visiting nurse to answer your questions about pregnancy, advise you on health and nutrition choices during pregnancy, and help you prepare for labor and delivery.
Will I still benefit from this program after my baby is born?
Your nurse will continue to visit you at your home, guide and support you in feeding, teach you about normal growth and development, and provide helpful tips to make parenting a little easier.
How much is this going to cost me?
