Assistance with Health Care Costs

Protection for Your Children

Whether you are a new or established parent, expecting a child, or thinking about starting a family, you are not in this alone. Tap into our experience and resources to prepare for the challenges of parenthood.

Financial assistance
Caring for your children is always top priority even when expenses are high and the budget is tight. You need not sacrifice your family's health because of the cost. Contact us for easy access to programs that help qualifying families pay for things like medical coverage during pregnancy and childbirth, expenses in caring for a child with special health needs, and health coverage for infants and young children.

Child safety
We are your source for the Johnson County Safe Kids program, supplying bicycle and horseback riding helmets, car seats, and certified instruction for proper use.

Support for expecting parents
Expecting parents can always use some extra guidance. We are happy to share our knowledge and resources, offering programs like Best Beginnings for Wyoming Babies for moms-to-be; and Nurse-Family Partnership for all first-time moms-to-be.

Classes
Johnson County Public Health works to bring you and your family the instruction you need in breastfeeding, parenting, and siblinghood. Contact our Buffalo office for more information.
